For real, who has missed travel? Same! And, we’re not alone. According to a new poll by travel insurance firm World Nomads suggests 66% of Americans are planning a summer trip. Out of those, about one third have already booked reservations. Honestly, it can be overwhelming planning your travels. So, use this post as your reference when deciding the best U.S Airlines to fly with this Summer 2021.
For starters, common components we consider when selecting an airline include customer service, affordability, ease of booking, etc. So, these components have been considered when selecting these two U.S. Airlines to fly this summer. As someone who finds travel therapeutic and joyful, I hope you find these recommendations helpful and useful.
Amazingly, Southwest Airlines is considered one of the world’s largest low-cost carrier airlines, according to southwest.com, and it’s based in the U.S. I’ve had the pleasure of flying Southwest Airlines on numerous occasions, the most recent being my trip to Colorado with my husband and two friends April 2021. After the turmoil and confusion of 2020, we want to feel comfortable and safe while traveling. Incredibly, Southwest Airlines met all my expectations, during this recent trip to Colorado.
Additionally, Southwest Airlines’s diverse flight routes makes them one of the best airlines to fly in Summer 2021. If you want to travel Mexico, The Caribbean, or Central America, Southwest Airlines offers a wide variety of flight options. John Luke (my husband) and I are planning a anniversary trip to one of these areas. We are so thankful Southwest Airlines offers flights from Pensacola, FL to these destinations.
Okay, I might be a little biased on this winner. But Allegiant Airlines offers ease of travel for a full-time content creator. To be honest, one of my favorite ways of rebooting and reconnecting to my inner-child is through work trips. As a content creator, we have the blessing of doing sponsored trips or hotel stays. In saying that, an exciting component of sponsored travel is getting to capture content in new scenery.
However, this particular blog post is not sponsored. But, I did have the privilege of partnering with Allegiant Airlines in a Work. Stay. Play. campaign hosted in Las Vegas last October 2020. The campaign allows me to travel with John Luke somewhere we’ve never been. It truly rejuvenates my creativity. It also helps me to reconnect with my “why” and have a fresh start with my business. The ability for remote workers to travel to (and explore) new places, while still be productive, is a huge mission of Allegiant Airlines.
So, you have learned two of the best U.S. Airlines to fly in Summer 2021. No doubt, it can be overwhelmingly looking up flights, especially when you haven’t traveled in awhile. In saying that, let this blog post be your inspiration and motivation to safely travel in the U.S. Summer 2021 (and beyond). Now, let’s take a quick look at why traveling in Summer 2021 benefits remote workers in the U.S. (like influencers!)
Changing up your scenery changes your mindset. It’s no secret we have all been more cooped up lately, after 2020’s challenges. Use a trip, even if it’s a long-weekend trip flying Allegiant Airlines, to regroup and realign with your goals. In fact, according to an expert study shared in the L.A. Times, “women who vacationed every six years or less had a significantly higher risk of developing a heart attack or coronary death compared with women who vacationed at least twice a year” And, “Benefits of travel are almost immediate. After only a day or two, 89% of respondents saw significant drops in stress” (L.A. Times).
Even if you need to start off with a short weekend trip in the U.S., do it. Both Southwest Airlines and Allegiant Airlines will make this booking process enjoyable, seamless, and safe. Taking a trip and doing something for you, just because it’s fun, is extremely vital and healthy. In fact, this leads me into my next benefit of traveling Summer 2021.
Do you ever do something simply because it sounds fun? As business owners, it’s so easy to get caught up in the “business” and forget what’s ultimately fun to do/create as an influencer. But, when we travel somewhere new, it allows us to explore and return to our inner-child. Interestingly enough, when we get in that simple, joyful mindset – magic happens! We end up curating beautiful content. A great example of this is a post I’ve created in partnership with VitalJuice.co . Go somewhere simply because it sounds fun. There doesn’t have to always be some intense underlining reason. Business can be ugly and hard. It’s so important to embrace what sounds fun and lights us up inside.
Going on a trip in Summer 2021 provides you with three alignment shifts. You will gain a fresh perspective, identify the challenges, and check in with your values and priorities. Let’s break down how these alignment shifts happen. These alignment shifts are probably a lot simpler than you realize.
When you keep facing the same problems, having the same choices, and doing the same actions over and over again you feel limitations (Lifehack.org). Traveling allows you to shift how you look at things. This shift is key to learning how to reboot and create fresh start. Re-shaping your perception is empowering. Even just a small change in perspective can completely change everything, from your motivation and outlook, to your self-esteem and confidence (Lifehack.org).
Recently, taking a trip to Montana with Southwest Airlines, gives me an opportunity to reroot and relax with family. During this trip, I journal (with iPhone Notes app) and enjoy a yummy coffee in the mornings. The fresh air, change of scenery, and journaling allows me to focus on my brand and what’s working/what’s not. Not only do I write down awareness of what’s not working within my business, but I write down solutions to those problems. Identifying challenges and giving your mind space to breathe and refresh is crucial for realignment.
After identifying the challenges in your business, you can point yourself in the right direction. When you identify your challenges it better equips you to identify your values and priorities. As an influencer, you need to be aligned with any brands you partner with. If you cannot identify those values, it will be impossible to choose the best brand partners. Traveling in Summer 2021 will allow you to redefine your values and priorities before the start of Fall and Holiday Season.
In conclusion, traveling in Summer 2021 with the best U.S. Airlines can be fun and rejuvenating for remote workers, especially influencers. As business owners, it’s easy to dismiss taking care of yourself and forget to have fun. Changing up your surroundings and exploring new places is a key way to do something for yourself and improve your life and business. Where have you traveled lately?
